Cool. It just sounded like you were getting into everyone when you were only upset at sabre. But, your point is made, and I've looked at the thread you mentioned, and can see where you're coming from...

But, yes, we'll agree to disagree on the "bad form" point I mentioned in my earlier posts....Just one thing, I'm not sure if you understood my point (you probably did and I'm reading into it wrong) - I never disagreed with you saying that noone was posting about Buzz's injury, my only gripe was that it had seemed you had used the news as a way to bag Dockers supporters (hence the loyalty reference).....

Oh, I completely agree. I am constantly replying to the negative nancies that always crop up, and it is more often that not in defense of McManus, but it has also been in defense of Fewster this year, as he has played well. His errors in the Geelong game were glaring, but he was one of about fifteen (if not more) on that day...



Yes, it was, but I am expecting something similar in Adelaide this week...we haven't been good away from home this year.

On the Fewster thing, I was not trying to score points and "use" his injury to do so. I was genuinely upset to hear of his injury and was genuinely irritated to go to the Freo board to post a "get well soon" to find nothing but the vestiges of a thread slagging him off. My apologies to people like you and kuepper who took that as a troll on the Freo people. It wasn't intended as such.

Im not addressing what was before this as I have done so over and over.
My job as a moderator is to remove abusive and suspect threads,and start threads that will generate discussion.
As a moderator I can do and act like any other regular on this site, I do not personally abuse people and I do not make comments without at least attempting to back them up.
Yes I am controversial, but its thats entirely my choosing and allowed.
In all honesty anyone can do my job as a moderator while posting the same way they always have.
How fellow posters on this board view me does not keep me up at night.I can safely say that most people dont view me as a serial pest,from there what I am viewed as is up for debate.
Your aggression doesnt bother me as much as you coming back to issues we have gone over and I have explained, in an attempt to discredit me when the proof isnt at hand.
The way you twist my comments also anoys me as I dont do the same to you,nor have I really ever questioned your comments.
The attack seems to always begin from you court.
If eagle supporters are going to come to the dockers board to stir up trouble I am always going to allow some kind of backlash from docker supporters.
In all honesty the only supporters that post on the freo board other than freo supporters in the majority are eagle supporters.
GoEagles does and would do exactly the same thing.

OK, I'm going to give up now because you failed to address any of my points and simply wrote a sermon about how you're always in the right. Maybe one day you'll learn something, but I can't see it at the moment.

No I didn't.

I have gone back to the thread and this is the paragraph I wrote (verbatim):

"Your own moderator starts a thread saying a Freo player is a disgrace and then doesn't have the courtesy to comment regarding a serious knee injury suffered the next game. On the main board today we have your supporters cheering James Hird off in an ambulance with an obviously serious injury. Yes, there are idiots everywhere, but few are as idiotic as sabre."

You have taken that to mean (by combining the last two sentences presumably) that I am saying that you condoned the cheering of Hird into the ambulance. This is not what I said or what I meant. Why don't you combine sentence 1 and 3 or 1 and 2 instead of 2 and 3? None of these sentences constitutes a "lie". The third sentence is obviously insulting to you, but no more so than your thread on Fewster was to Brendan.

What you did condone (from memory of the thread) was the cheering off of opposition players with the blood rule (I think you gave Buckley as an example). I don't have a huge beef about this because the current blood rule is a joke and players often go off with minor scratches - but if the injury looks serious (and that did on TV and I imagine on the screen or up close at Subi) I would always sympathetically applaud any player off. As for an ambulance, I don't think I have to say any more.

I suspect that you don't understand half of what I post, or at least attribute a misunderstood meaning to it. Much of what you post is ill-considered, which is why people (not just me) slate it.

I'll consider whether to darken the Freo board again.
