No contest, Pro Evo 2. Fifa 2003 was pretty bad, I really hope 04 has gone forward in leaps and bounds seen as Pro Evo doesnt come out on the XBox.
Saw FIFA 2004 at my local EB yesterday so it's definately out here (Melbourne). From all reviews it's supposed to be the best FIFA yet (altho they say that every year) and it has closed the gap on Pro Evo in regards to gameplay. Also has an improved career mode, all teams from the English football league (Premier to Div 3) as well as a few new stadiums (ie. Anfield, Stamford Bridge) and lower leagues from Spain, Italy etc. Graphics look pretty sweet too. Dare say i'll go out and grab it later in the week.

Pro Evolution 2 is definitely the better game, but I enjoyed playing both that and FIFA 2003. I will also buy FIFA 2004 later in the week when I have more time.

....and it is ****ing awesome!!! got it yesterday. Total improvement on PE2. Master league is more in depth and it now has player rankings and individual statistcs for each game.
Gameplay has improved with heaps of new moves and it seems the speed has slowed down a bit, but for the better to make it more realistic.
It is the full package!!
Will be interested to see how FIFA 2004 goes....

Are all player names accurate or is it similar to last year??
It's similar to last year, i.e. most of the names are accurate but some aren't, I'm pretty sure it's based on a player's nationality. But there's no "Oranges001" etc for the Dutch this time, at least you can tell who they are this time. Go Von Mistelroum!
Fifa has improvede leaps and bounds, and it becoming alot more towards simulation rather than arcade. However, Pro Evo (winning 11) romps on fifa.

I dropped into Electronics Boutique this morning and picked up Pro Evolution 3, FIFA 2004 and this club football game, (Liverpool FC - The Official Video Game) which looks interesting.
Is that the one that's part of that whole series they've brought out with the big English clubs where you can basically play in the side with all the players (& they look really realistic) of your team?

Yeah, the players look realistic although I don't think the gameplay is quite as good as either Pro Evolution 3 or FIFA 2004, but it's still a pretty good game. It's not just restricted to the big English clubs though, there's other European clubs like Real Madrid as well in the series.

I dont know if this is right but im 99% sure i saw FIFA2004 on Xbox and the games shop but a coming soon tag on the PS2 version. Now is this correct ??? i think i might go down to the games shop and grab a copy of FIFA2004 if its out on PS2, urgetnt help is needed hehe.
