Final Fantasy 8 Remaster

ok I looked and couldnt find a thread..... just grabbed it for $30 looks fantastic and plays so well really loving it makes me wonder if I want to play the 7 remake or just do the remaster. worried about new game play ruining the experiance

I got it off the Xbox store about a month ago. I am a massive fan of FF8 and gave been since I played it as a kid 20 years ago.

They use the term 'Remaster' pretty loosely though. Apart from the character models it's still PS1 graphics. But that said, the story, music, charcaters are still great. Also, the junction system is a joy to break in the early game.

This game deserves a proper remake like they are doing with FF7.

think they will eventually, it plays so well still i hope 7 doesnt lose some of its charm with new battle system ect

Started playing this last week and already up the 3rd disc.

Love that you can speed the game up as spamming the Summons takes up so much time!
