Australia's two best Light Heavyweights are set to meet on September 18th, in Sydney at the Horden Pavillion(Damm now I'm only half a chance of seeing it live).

Luckily it will be on PPV through Main Event, it will be interesting to see what the undercard is like.

Tip - Briggs KO5.

Go the Hurricane!

yea, this should be a rippa!

Im a big chance at going to see this one live. Should be an interesting clash of styles and coupled with a competitive bout or two underneath should sell pretty well on PPV.

Interesting that they told me last week at Vodafone Briggs was moving down to 168, but it seems they are staying at 175 for at least one more.

A big win by Briggs should catapult him in regards to popularity and marketability - especially for a potential Mundine fight.

I think Kelly could provide early problems logistically with his boring style and size advantage, but I think the Hurricane will wear him down and stop him between 8-10.

Is it me, or is boxing starting to buzz a bit? Pity Forrest-Mosely was a bit of a fizzer with Mosely doing nothing the majority of the fight!

hey Smoke,

I'm going to try my best and hopefully make it up to Syn City to see for this one too, the forum is trying to meet up before the fight as well.

I'm confident of a Hurricane victory, what round will depend how Kelly fights if he goes all defensive like he did against RJ it will go to the late rounds but if he tries to go toe to toe with Briggs it could be an early night. Can't see Mundine taking the risk and fighting Briggs unless he gets a World Title than Mundine might want to fight.

I know what you mean about the fights this year fizzing Tyson-Lewis, Barrera-Morales 2, Forrest-Mosley 2 plus we haven't had any big Australian match-ups yet.

Should be a good fight we are due for one after all Mundane mismatches which have peeved everyone of Hopefully it will be on ppv.I personaly think maybe Kellys experience will get him home but Briggs power will make it an interesting night

Cheers

yea looking good.

Izon-Big Bob should be interesting.

If I was them Id chuck on either Ozkan or Tosca which would get a whole heap of the Melbourne boxing/kickboxing community who may be touch and go in regards to forking out the 40-50 bucks to actually buy it.

Whose promoting it?
