Finals Ticketing

I have no idea sorry

All good mate, for some reason, I don't think many of us tiger heads would exactly be experts on the subject of finals and finals arrangements :D

This thread is pretty funny and I could see it being made fun of on the Bay.

Richmond fans are so far removed from success that noone has the slightest idea of how finals tickets get dolled out.
Haha it is very funny. I had a good laugh.

So if you currently have a reserved seat, you don't get to keep that for home finals games?

Cheers RG - guess it would be my old man and I (the 2 most passionate fans in the family then!).

Do you (or anyone else know) if you keep your reserved seat for finals or (if I bought 2), does that mean we'd be somewhere in GA?

fairly certain its a free for all for all seats in the Ponsford/Olympic and the GA areas of the GSS. You pay extra for good seats, less for seats on the top level ect ect.

Cheers underarm - TBH, I'd happily sit in the aisle, just want to be at the G for a Richmond final (was 12 years old and in attendance in the Prelim vs the blues back in 01, to this date - still my best footy memory) :D

You do not get to keep your spot for finals. Your reserved seat is reserved by other clubs during home games and .up to 5 or 6 members of other 'G' tenants may have that seat booked also during home & home games. You just have to be logged into ticketek ASAP. The AFL website will tell U how many tickets each member can book... Good luck.

PS do the maths Tiges & pies have a 140K members...

Lid is still on, but starting to show real signs of fatigue - Will start seriously looking at flights back from the UK if we win th next 3 on the trot!

Genuine pisser this thread. Reminds me of someone who posted here earlier in the year about the Carltank membership team not knowing what to do when they receive a phone call. The shoe's on the other foot now :D

You should have asked this question on the Geelong board.

Richmond supporters have no idea about finals tickets lol.

Factors effecting ticket purchases since RFC fans last gave a shit:

1) you can now buy tickets on line

2) membership cards have barcodes, and dont get notches taken out of them any more

3) if you rock up at Myer Chadstone to queue overnight for tickets you will be sitting there by yourself

4) there is this thing called ebay where you can buy scalped tickets

5) there are these things ticket agencies now have called apps. Don't ask me how we get them to work on our 2G Motorola flip phone, but they are out there

The only AFL final I've been to was West Coast v Collingwood at Subi - it ended in a draw and went into overtime. Was a great match.

I am literally clueless about how I'd get finals tickets for Richmond but I'm hoping my Inter-State membership will help me get there. I mean there's only 60,000(+) Richmond members in Australia and the MCG 100,000 so we can all go right? ;) But seriously lets cross our fingers for a home final (or any finals at all heh right guys?).
