i think he has the talent to be a good player. just needs to switch on a bit, add a bit of toughness to his game. I see him in the same way as i saw health black at that age in his career. His a great kick but lets face it folks health black promised a lot for ages and now after what 6-7 years of footys his doing the good things and is playing his best footy. I see fiora in the same boat . Over summer id be getting him in the gym, build him up, get him super fit and put him next year on a wing or a half back. With his kicking skills that would be a great move

Agree. The culture that GT has created/nourished/developed at Moorabbin will always bring out the best in a player. It might a fair bit of time, but you can't just pull on the jumper and turn into Brownlow material.
Stevie Milne is a classic example who comes to mind. Showed promise at Essendon, but the culture of our club has just made him grow in the best way possible.
Big Frase is another. Maligned and disrespected at the Wet Toast, he is now recognised as a valuable forward and an on-field leader.
I would guess, and it is a huge guess, that this year 2005 is a learning year...
over preseason 2005/2006,
more learning and development of the body and mind.
Teaching him respect for himself, his team-mates and the club.
Next year, putting all those lessons to the test in the cauldron of AFL footy.
He will definitely show his talent in bursts next year, but watch him in 2007 when it all comes together.
