He would have been OK on Thursday night apart from the two obvioius occasions when he had to run straight through the line of the ball but instead opted just to stick out a limp arm.

He showed he was a good player to have when St. Kilda had the run going their way, but when the Lions were on top he wasn't much use out there. Decision making seems to have improved a lot though which is a good sign for him. Did pull out of a contest for a loose ball but he'll never be a tough inside player.

while we may feel justified getting rid of aron,seems he left a lot of mates behind with same problems as shown today

He will kick some nice goals this year and give the finnish to some of StKildas good plays but he is just not the guy you want in the trenches with you.
