First Post - Hello...

[Ichiban]

G'day folks,

I thought that I'd better go about this the right way, and introduce myself.

I'm a Lions supporter, originally a Bears supporter. I grew up in Tasmania, and it is fair to say, I was the only Bears supporter I knew growing up.

Recently moved back to Tassie, after spending 6 years on the Gold Coast.

My real name is Josh, the alias 'Ichiban' is one that I've used over the last few years in AFL DreamTeam and Herald Sun SuperCoach competitions. It is Japanese for 'number one', I'm not Japanese - don't ask me how it came about, because I can't really remember... I've watched a bit of Japanese wrestling in my time.

I'm keen to follow the progress of the new GC17 side - but could never dump the Lions as my number one team.

Outside of work, I enjoy MMA (mixed martial arts), golf and music festivals - JJJ listener.

Hey Ichiban, well there is nothing wrong with loyalty.

I say this from experience being an Eagles supporter who has lived in the Fremantle area for much of his life and seen the birth of the Dockers.

For me staying loyal to the Eagles has definitely been a rewarding experience.

Anyway it is a good time to be a Lion. New coach, made the finals in 09 and may just have secured arguable the best FF in the competition.
