What does everyone think about the possibility of drafting Fish, I think it would be a mistake, as due to his age, being out of footy for a year & his vulnerability to injury, I feel they would have been better to keep Lalich.

Personally i reckon Essendon has nothing to lose, being a Hawk supporter i always thought he should have gone on last season, dont know what the 12 months out will do to him but you can slot him in on your veterans list, at worst he would be great around the club teaching the young ruckman the ropes ....


I reckon it would be a pretty good punt ......

I agree with Bubba ... if the club is serious ... its worth the punt. We've delisted two 'risk' players from out list in Lalich and McAlister ... so we can certainly afford to draft him. I must say that i was shocked when i heard this on the radio ... but he does slot nicely onto our verteran list where we have a couple of empty slots.

I'll be watching this closely.

Actually if they do draft the Fish our veteran's list will be full. Cec qualifies this year.

I think the Fish is worth the risk. He is a smart player, very experienced, and could be of value. He won't take up too much salary cap space as he will be on the veterans list and will be great back up for Alessio, as I think young Hills need more time to develop before gaining a regular berth.

Even if Fish doesn't get a game, his presence around the club would be a positive.

That looks so out of place when you have the list of threads on your screen. If we were really bored, we could bump up some very outdated threads and confuse the hell out of anyone, especially the trolls.
