Bit harsh there panthers, don't think there was any malace in Dippers post.

Sammy has been outstanding this year, he's not a superstar but considering where he has come from we couldn't have asked any more from him. He will probably win the most improved award at the B +F this year. He can be a bit slow with his decision making but it's something he has really really worked on this year, but i still cringe when he has the ball, not 100% confident in his disposal yet. There was one thing he did against Colliwobble I think,
on the back-flank when he was grabbed,
& while being grappled,
still got a 40 metre kick to the wing...straight to an unmarked Saint.
We don't hear the talk on the ground, maybe 4 players are telling him 4 different things...Who knows?

Back onto the topic. I always rated him. I rated him from the first game I saw him. A lot of supporters bagged the hell out of him at the start of this year (obviously forgetting his good form of last year when thrown into the deep end). He has progressively gotten better every game & is now an instant selection in our best 22.

A bargain at pick 55 in the draft & an embarrasment to many posters that had no patience with him at the start of the season.

yes he was recruited from West Adelaide. He also has a great golf handicap

His brother is a rover. Started in the ones but played in the magoos for the 2nd half of the year. Probably a bit small to make AFL.

I played footy with Fishbones back in Barmera before he stopped to play golf and he was always a wingman. He didn't grow until he was like 18/19, so he learnt to play small. He could always take a grab but was always too small. Now that he is 6"3, it is probably why he is so versatile.

He may be a late developer to as he didn't play any footy between the ages of 15-19.

The Fisher that you are thnking about is Bradyn. He is a tall forward who kicked over 60 goals for West Adelaide in their under seventeens last year. Was invited to the local draft camp but wasn't picked up. He is still eligible this year. A cousin of Sam
