Five things I learnt.
1) It was good to have Brown as an "old head" in our young backline. Really need a general down there and if he can stand up we will be much better.
2) Adams has no head! Well it seems so as he copped a lot of head high contact not rewarded by the scumpies. Maybe he needs to change his name to "AdamWood".
3) Bruce has NFI about what the AD Medal is about. His comment in the fourth that "If Collingwood win so and so would be a real chance for the medal". Sorry Bruce, the medal should not be awarded to a player on the basis his team won. Had Fletcher had an impact in the last quarter he would have been a deserving winner despite his team losing.
4) there is a boundary umpire that is still doing the job despite umpiring in 1979. Elliot's goal is proof that age shall not weary them.
5.) Varcoe was worth the punt. We've been awful with our choice of recycled older players in the last few years. But Varcoe appears to be value for money. I know he will not play at that level each week. But he certainly has work rate and shows our up and comers what professional AFL is all about.

Good read! There were a few wayward words italicised that seemed a bit random though, but maybe that's just cause I was reading on my phone.

Hm, interesting, Ill have a look in the back end and see...
