I'm assuming we play the PF against the Demons / Cats / Bombers / Power pool ? And assuming Power win, we'll be playing at the G v melbourne-based teams.

Can someone confirm this ?

I believe you're 100% right. If we had've lost last night we would've hosted a cut throat semi v the winner of WC and Swans which would've been BAD.

I think we are quite capable of beating Geelong/Essendon/Melbourne at the G no problems.

Funny how Essendon come in at the 11th hour to make the finals and it appears they will get a home ground run for every final if they stay alive?! And to think they are the most vociferous about an uneven playing field on bigfooty this year yet they are the team that's been caught cheating?

Being the lovable wuss he is, my husband has just called from Coorparoo to say he's heading home before the storm comes in there. The other info he imparted was the (if it wasn't so serious to us) comical sight of Lions supporters at coorparoo today. They're standing just outside the club house, looking inside watching the port game and nearly crying, turning back to outside and cheering on the reserves who are winning, looking inside and yelling at the tv in disgust, turning outside and clapping and yelling 'good work'......

Oh yeah, and he added what we already knew but has seen first hand himself now (like I didn't believe the tv report?), Luke Power's eye belies the saints dirty tactic attempts on Friday night. He's sporting some obvious brusing and grazing/scratches below the eye.
