who WOULD you like to win the flag realistically as essendon wont

me the demons or doggies... demons probably the best chance

though adelaide for the flag.. unless something drastic happens between now and then they are yards ahead of the competition and they are all soo frickkin built! it must be something in the water... should go and put my money where my mouth is really

I'd like Melbourne or Doggies as well as I'm a big Vic at heart, but I wouldn't care if Adelaide win, they bloody deserve it the way they're playing

Probably couldve created a poll with this one, but Im going for the Doggies.
They bloody deserve it from where they've come from and the injuries theyve had in the past few years. If they win, Id even consider buying an armchair membership to help their status as a possible future league heavyweight.

would you say that the lions deserved the 3 flags?.. because i think a truely great team seizes its opportunites as brisbane did, essendon didnt in 99 maybe 01 could say, and collingwood in 02 or 03 cant remember which was their dominate year.. port also blew their chances

I wouldnt say we didnt seize our opportunity in 01, we went in with 10 blokes with no fitness base due to limited pre-seasons and Hirdy was nursing a groin injury throughout the finals series...even he admits he knew he was screwed by half time in the GF, let alone the final against the Hawks.

Collingwood defintely blew some opportunites and we did squander ours in 99

lions 2 out of 3. I reckon we were the better team in 2001 but fell over due to injuries and some crazy tribunal decisions - the Lloyd headbut.

Would have been an absolute tragedy in the pies won in 02 or 03 with
