Assuming he can't break into the team soon and stay there, I reckon he'll ask for a trade. 24 games in 4 years is a clear indicator of a lack of opportunities.

Honestly I'm annoyed that he hasn't been given the amount of opportunities that we've seen with the likes of other players with question marks over their heads. I still firmly believe that there is a place for Talia in the team

All jokes aside been a Roberts fan for a while. Lots of talent and has quietly shut down some very good and highly rated forwards. Would love to see him swing forward a bit more and create a mismatch as I think his forward craft is pretty excellent.

Said last year that I wanted exactly that, but with more of a focus on his defensive craft in the short term to give him a fallback.

As a big fan, it frustrated me midway through last year watching him be swung from end to end without being allowed to build any continuity at AFL level.

Glad he's stepped up to be a rock down back, now we can dabble with the forward talent he displayed in his junior years.
