Good signing by Essendon, Fletcher is a star, 2-time premiership player, Best & Fariest, All-Australian, and when this contract runs out he would have played at the elite level for over 15 years.
He gives the Essendon young players a experienced leader and is still a quality backman who can also go forward and kick goals. These players don't come around that often.
