Why does Fletcher always seem to make the tribunal for stupid incidents. Although I agree he shouldnt have been there he just keeps getting himself into trouble with silly indiscretions.
He so didnt need to do that.
When will he learn?
What a dirty player.

PS: If he had have copped 3 weeks, he most certainly would finally be able to play against Port? Wont Tredders be suprised.

How can what he did be considered reckless to the point of being suspendable when plenty of similar incidents have occurred over the past ten years with only a free kick and sometimes a 50m penalty being paid to the opposition?

It was a ridiculous report and a ridiculous decision by the tribunal, and Fletcher should not be blamed at all!

It was a deliberate trip from someone who has constantly and consistently tripped opposition players. He is dirty and disgracefully and should consider himself lucky he only got a week. I’m sure I saw him attempt a leg trip as well during the game. He has been told not to trip people yet he continues to do it….I wonder if he will learn this time. Some how I doubt it. Clumsy my arsk…

How do you know it was deliberate?

a diving ankle tap...how deliberate do you want it??!!

Did you think that on all the other occasions in the past ten years for which a very similar incident occurs that it was deliberate and that the offending player should have been suspended?

Not to mention that you haven't answered my question: you've just restated your conclusion in different words. Again, how do you know it was deliberate, as opposed to other scenarios which are at least as plausible - for instance, that he lunged to tackle Stevens, but Stevens got away from him too quickly and so Fletcher caught the back of his leg.

I didn't think he deserved a week or even to get reported. Not suprisingly most of the people near me said straight after it happened, 'He's ****ed he'll go for that'.

It all evens itself out the dodgy reports/suspensions.

Ramma was lucky weeks ago not to get done for kneeing or rolling over the back with the shins, but that was exactly how Penny got nailed this week.

The only difference was that Penny landed on Wanganeen and he carried on like he'd been hit by shrapnel from a car bomb.
