You would have to go McLeod. Adelaide work very hard to keep McLeod loose in defence so that he can provide run and sweep up loose balls. If Essendon require a tall defender, then Fletcher is one of the options... like when he was marking Franklin last week in the 2nd half. McLeod's a chance for the Brownlow, that's how well he's playing...

macleod, simply cos he demands his junior players to man up while he plays loose in defence. fletcher occassionally plays full-back when michaels is not coping.

but fletcher is a good backman for for both s/c and d/t especially s/c
as soon as essendon got the traitor(micheal) fletcher was the the first defender i got he scored really well last year even though he missed quite a few games and was always going to do much better s/c wise with the traitor there

He does all the kick in's, but from what I noticed Essendon nearly always go back to him after the kick-out. Either to switch the pay or because the oppisition is flooding.
Fletcher scored about 130 this week running with Franklin and about 170 the week before running loose off halfback on the create.
I know which of those guys are in my team at the moment. Both.
I dont agree with your wording, but youre spot on correct. When Thighs came across to Essendon Fletcher automatically had license to play a little further up the ground and run and create. Instant statistics getter. Mal on the other hand is left inside the 50 punching balls to the boundary.
