Even though i am a collingwood supporter, i have a lot of time for this Foley kid. Great running midfielder. What do you guys think about him and if he will even become better?
what does that have to do with anything. i'm saying one of your players is good.

It's a bit of a captain O statement, we don't need collingwood supporters slogging up our thread page with dribble.
Lighten up man. So much anger, so misplaced.It's a bit of a captain O statement, we don't need collingwood supporters slogging up our thread page with dribble.

hopefully you dont call this dribble;
i rate foley very highly and belive that this is what judd will become at carlton, a gun in his own right but not the man he was. He would have been aa easly if he was at a club that made the 8, ling made it in on the merit of geelong and not much else, same goes for mooney. Foley is underated to those who view superstars as players in superstar teams, people fail to recognise how good of a season he really did have because they view how good a player is on how well their team whent. Mooney, Ling and to an extent Corey got into aa because of geelong, whilst foley struggled in the brownlow because the umps failed to consider the impact of a player in a loosing team.
you obviously didnt watch any richmond games, he held our team through most of the season, i would hatew to see how bad things would of gotten without him in the middle and only his 2nd season in seniorsYou obviously didn't watch many Geelong games. Foley is good, but he's no star.

On the other hand, there is a few threads 'criscione' could have looked at instead of starting a fresh one to rehash the same dribble we've all been over. Ignore them and they might learn to search for themselves, or even better think twice about starting new threads on topics that have been done!!we dont need tossas like you shooting down anyone who ahs something good to say about one of our players![]()

i agree foley will be a good player, but i dunno bout comparing him to judd. Over this whole trade period i have lost a lot of respect for judd, he doesnt really seem to care much about the footy, just all else that comes with it, foley will exceed him with years to come

Do a search for 'Lingy's towel of honour'. He was by far and away the best tagger in the league, stopping the best player of every club nearly every week. He did alright with his kicking for goal too. Not taking anything away from Foley, but he wouldn't have been AA at Geelong - he wouldn't have got half the ball that he did at Richmond.
