NightFury, if you have even a slight interest in directing the WAFL in a forward direction then you have my vote. Otherwise, what about Maumill?

Well, I do have some ideas.
One thing I feel strongly about, which isn't in the absolute best interests of the WAFC is to have both local AFL teams become seperate individual entities. By this I mean I would like very muchly for my beloved Fremantle to be self owned, or be owned by shareholders rather than having the WAFC as it's primary (and only?) stakeholder.
I feel Fremantle as well as West Coast have enough support to become clubs/businesses in their own right and run their own affairs without having the WAFC having a finger in the pie.
Now, I realise that our local clubs use the WAFL to both develop and recruit players from so I think both could help fund the WAFC & the WAFL.
I feel that both AFL clubs could come to some agreement ot help fund the WAFL with contribututions along with the AFL due to the fact that we do provide talent for the national draft. What do you guys think about that???
I would considor expanding the WAFL to with some regional teams as well if it was financially viable and beneficial to football in our state. ie Geraldton, Bunbury, Kalgoorlie perhaps?? I would at least put the idea out there to the public and other groups to see what everyone thinks about it.
OH, I would certainly prioritise the building of a new football stadium ASAP... with at least 75k capacity... none of this stupid 60k crap.
