I didnt really know where to post this thread so here will do.
I'm looking for a new pair of footy boots but i'm not really sure what to get. I had nike total 90's last time same as these ones and they lasted me a fair bit.

My advice would be to stay away from the adidas +f30 and the puma v5.06 because half the time its not even leather just plastic. I found it really hard to kick with it being that and plus the roundness of it. But it's mainly a soccer boot. If you want to stick with adidas look at the predetors. Not a bad boot but fair pricey.

Those adidas ones are made for soccer, very thin tops for "one touch" passes. Not suitable really for aussie rules.
The first puma ones you posted seem alright, but theyve got weird blades on them.
If youve got the money, go NOMIS, they feel great.

I'm looking at the moment too, and have been checking out what the league guys are wearing. The Puma King Exec seem to be the staple boot across the league - I had a pair of these last year and the left boot literally fell to pieces before the end of the season (had to play in the Granny with old boots!) so won't be getting them this year. Have always worn Puma Kings..

I'm leaning towards either:

The old adidas classic Copa Mundial- all roo leather, can get them for under $200 pretty much everywhere.

Nike Tiempo Legend - all roo leather again, bit more expensive. Photo is of the Tiempo Mystic which are cheaper and a different material I think, but they look basically the same.

Asics Gel Lethal Ultimate - best boot for your feet, knees, etc. Probably won't get them 'cause I don't think you can kick as cleanly in them, but probably should.

Yeah the Adidas one and the Puma V5.06 are both soccer shoes but i wanted the same looking shoes as Andrew McLeod wears:o

Worth considering two pairs this year — moulded/blades for early season, and long stops for the inevitable quagmires when some rain does come.

Good to see a fellow girl playing AFL I do too. I loved the shocked look on the guys faces when they can actually see you can kick a football :D In my playing days I could easily kick the ball at least 60 Metres ( and no that wasn't along the ground either!:p ) Today I reckon I could kick it about 40 metres I'm guessing at present as I havent kicked a football for about a year because I broke my ankle.

I was thinking that actually. When the rain does come the grounds will turn to mud baths.
