I have a male friend who I'm pretty close to, and he said that there is NO WAY that a guy would EVER just want to be friends.... he says that always in the back of their minds, they are thinking about taking it further.

This doesn't apply to me

See, here we have Exhibit A!

I think it's too narrow minded to say that all guys have sex or whatever in the back of their mind...I honestly believe some guys just wanna be friends. Why is that so hard to understand? LOL actually I could answer my own question there...guys screw up your life. :(

Hehehe...but...in some cases, it's the ones who ONLY want to be friends that screw up your life. :(

How come we're only accusing the guys of thinking of more than friendship here? I'm sure there's plenty of girls who do it too.

I think we all know what that first statement feels like. Anyway, their loss! :)

And the second statement? Yeah, I can put my hand up for that one! :D

Well, I'm fairly certain that a great number of males will at least run through a subconscious checklist whenever it is appropriate (ie: when they see a female, at any time)

1) Would I do her?

Ok, that's the entire checklist. Then most of the time, most of us just get over it right there and then.

It's a curiosity thing, and usually nothing more. Not unlike saying to yourself "I like this song", "I don't like this song" or "whatever" anytime a piece of music comes on.

Come on, who does the checklist? I'd be a filthy stinking liar if I said I didn't. Whether or not I'm a filthy stinking liar anyway is irrelevant for the purposes of this thread.
