Second last race of the year. Awkward time zone for those on the East coast with a 3AM race start. Slightly more manageable 12AM-2AM race for those in Perth.

Rain is forecast for this race, so expect to see either Inters/Wets at some stage in the race. Could bring pit strategy into play.

Massa starting his last home race from 13th, dissappointing qualifying from Williams. The real interest will be in the battle at the front between Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton (especially if the wet weather arrives, as Nico isn't as strong). The gap is 19 points with 2 races left. If Nico Rosberg wins this race, he wins the world title. If he finishes 2nd, then he only needs to finish 3rd in the final race to secure the World Title. Its his title to lose

Hamilton will need to win the last two, and hope Nico misses a podium.

Much better system next year, there will still be safety car starts but instead of just releasing the cars when the SC pulls into the pits, there will be a standing start

Get up early and this happens. Good god its going to be a long day at work.

From James Allen:

If race is stopped and only half points awarded, Rosberg can afford to finish P4 in Abu Dhabi and be champion #F1 #BrazilGP
