Square's next game. Previously unveiled with the working title Project Athia has been now revealed as Forspoken. Not a whole lot to go on yet other than it's yet another open world adventure game and will be on PS5 and PC.

Played the demo tonight, there’s something there but it needs work before release.

Combat is kind of complicated with heaps of different spells. Dodging and blocking needs work.

Worth a look if you’re interested!

Don't usually care about the magic numbers reviewers give games but Digital Foundry's video about the technical stuff confirmed my thoughts that for a while this game looks mid AF.

Everything I've seen of this from trailers to previews completely uninspired me, looked pretty empty and bland in the open world.
