Forward line isn't ready

We've rebuilt 80% of our list. We've organised our defence and our midfields. But at this stage of our build we haven't got enough games into our tall forwards. Even if we made the 8 we'd struggle to get past week 1 of the finals. Last year was about building the midfield, this year was about building the defence and next year will be about building the forward line. Players such as Derrickx, Elton, Astbury, Post and Vickery will be the players to take us the next step. Post has played no worse than all the others. I am pretty confident he's being taught the hard way and being prepared for 2013 and beyond. I just get the feeling he'll be kept. Slow developer who's working on his urgency. Anyway these are the guys who will get games next year and our forward line will function after a number of games. I'd say we'll trim the list by only 5 or 6 players. Probably Graham, Miller, Webberley, Connors and Macdonald. I think Browne is worth persisting with and White is handy depth. A decent draft this year will have us set for the future

You have the rose tinted specs on I see, post is a poor mans Derricx, Astbury has shown nothing in his short career to indicate that he is the next great white hope, and wasn't the onward structures set in dimmas first year? We may need to revisit some of his press conferences.

You every year inevitably choose to pump up the tires of one or two talls and their career is as good as over!!
