We have really good marking targets up forward. Moore, Cloke, Reid, Elliott and Fasolo. Yet our game plan instead of creating one on ones for them revolves around clogging their space to lead.

Our delivery is poor to them, and even if we had good kicks in the side they wouldn't be able to pick a target in all that mess. Our game plan has to change to capitalise on our fire-power up forward.

Id go as far as saying the entire reason we didnt make finals was because of how consistently inacurate we are infront of goal.

We need indigenous small fwds badly, Elliot and fas go up for marks and land and just stop with hands on knees taking in deep breaths .rioli go's up for a mark lands and chasses the ball with second and third efforts

Kennedy has performed worse at Senior level than anyone I can remember in the last 10 years. He is most definitely not the answer to our problems.
I suspect he will be gone at year end. Hopefully get some good forwards in the draft

I agree we need some crumbers, but its hard to get the ball when five other players are competing for the same crumb.

The Appalling Delivery to them Makes it very hard for them to do anything. When they kick it no where near them or just bomb it high in Hope.

We actually do have creative forwards, be it crumbers or marking targets.

But you can't do shit if you are outnumbered.

And the reason we are outnumbered doesn't really have anything to do with the forward personell or the structure rather it is the gameplan itself.

People can bang on and on about converting missed shots but I would say the gameplan itself contributes to the missed shots.

Don't necessarily need to be indigenous but yes need player who have speed and tackling pressure

I'm talking about the one with 35 players. The other other one with 1 player by him self is the oppositions.

So what happened to the days when a forward could lead and mark? The whole forward zone is so congested and we're trying to move the ball in so quickly with only moderate kicking skills that the opposition only have to bring to ground. Eventually we'll turn it over to a fast dash through the centre to the sole player in the back half who'll goal uncontested. Usually I try to remain calm and objective but today I'd happily sack every poor kick and decision maker and start again.

Is Anthony Rocca our forward line coach? I seem to remember Pebbles being about as reliable kicking at goal as Cloke is.
