FTA-TV Foxtel Play

Hey guys,

ive had foxtel play for around 6 months and mainly watch on xbox one. however today when ive signed in, its coming up with error ps403 and can only be played in australia. Anyone else had a similar issue?

Better question - is it any good for anyone?

Its SD quality at best. If that is your cup of tea, then its perfect.

If you enjoy HD or 4k TV, then no, its crap.

There is also Foxtel GO, if you have a mate with Foxtel they may let you use their account and you can watch Foxtel basically for free.

That's a pretty good deal, particularly if you're into you Supercoach.

Foxtel Play through Telstra TV is in high def for most channels and looks great. HD through other devices is apparently to follow.

Stan on my Samsung looks good.

Foxtel Play on the same TV looks rubbish. I will check to see if there are any quality settings I have missed .

Foxtel Play was poor when streaming from my PlayStation 3 but improved on the Telstra TV.

What annoys me about it is that it has BBC shows like Would I Lie to You that are a year or more behind.

Supposedly with running down the ABC the other services should have stepped up.

Screw you, gummint! Give the ABC my money!

From 5 June 2017, BoxSets, 13th Street, Binge, Syfy, Discovery Science, Animal Planet, Lifestyle You, Style, World Movies, CNN, Smooth, BBC World News, CNBC, Max, CMC, Eurosport News, Foxtel Arts, MTV Music and MTV Dance will no longer be available on Foxtel Play.
