So, have any of you BigFooty folk heard the new album by Franz Ferdinand?

Apparently, there' s a lot of hype (and hence backlash) in the UK over it.

I have to say it's one of the best releases of the year so far...somewhere between the dreariness of Interpol & the gimmicks of The Faint.

Anyways, I recommend it - the songs Jacqueline, Take me Out (the first single) and The Dark of the Matinee stand out in particular...

I heard Take Me On a few months ago, and loved it - still do.

NME are now labelling them a band that will "change your life", but who the f*ck reads that rag anymore?

heard some of their other songs, and if I ever get some disposable cash, I'll get their album.
