Just seen the latest NME with the bloke from Franz Ferdinand on the cover. What's with the white suit! The early 80's look (ABC, Simple Minds, Spandau Ballet) was crap first time around fella. Get a new stylist! Thought they sounded alright but now I've been put off by the Wet Wet Wet look!

that's the bloke... when i first heard of the band it brought back memories of year 10 history...
but they sound like a good band, i'm just trying to enjoy them before i'm sick of them... like jet...

read a piece on them yesterday and they are definitely named after the Arch Duke. album got a very tidy review too.

A great album.
I posted about them a couple of weeks ago and only got a few replies...looks like they're starting to catch on now - they're definitely being pushed by their label, radio airplay, tv commercials (i've walked past sanity twice this week & both times I heard "Dark of the matinee" being played).

It's for reasons like this that I avoid listening to the radio too often...if I start to get tired of them, it'll only be because i've had them on high rotation in my cd player.
