Whats happenned to him?

Havent watched Collingwood a heap this year but in the last 2 weeks i have. Anyway he seems to have gone backwards a bit, last year he racked up possesions and even exploited opposition ruckmen by pushing forward and kicking 2-3 goals. Yesterday he looked very very lazy when he was playing against mediocre opposition. I also noted on a more than a couple of accasions he didnt go in as hard as he should of, one in particular running back with the flight of the ball only to look wether a player was there which resulted in him missing a simple mark. Am i being harsh or is he not in the best of form? Injured maybe?

Not in great form, similar to your boy McPhee. Whats the deal with him? Lost the confidence he used to have?

yep he has admitted that his body is not right at the moment..

But thats all part of being an elite AFL player, you need to push through injuries and prepare your body.

Josh needs to take a leaf out of Barry Halls book - against Richmond he could have sat back and took a few weeks off with a bad knee. Instead he comes back the week after pushed through the pain and plays a blinder..

Josh was superb last year, needs to get into some form again - no way does he need to be dropped - just needs some touch

Watched him closely v Port. He looks like he can’t run with any pace whatsoever. Now that Bryan has shown something I’d rest Fraser – even if it means playing Richards which send a shiver down my spine.

9 day break will do him well

I think Fraser can pop down to the goalsquare now more often with Bryan showing good signs. Pebbles is dangerous in the square, but is just as dangerous if moved a little further out, and Cloke can pump the ball in their (like he did 10 times yesterday)

Gotta love that.
