We had just had the most exciting win possible, and yet he was walking around like we had lost the Grand Final again. He really gets himself down doesn't he?

He is very hard on himself. He has lost form again unfortuantly and seems to be spending alot of time on the pine.

Hmmm.

As stupid as it sounds, I think he needs a holiday. I know this is a bit left-field, but perhaps the Pies management should "invent" an injury and send Josh away on a short holiday?

Dropping him is another option but I don't think it is the best way to restore his confidence.

Cameron Cloke for Fraser.

The guy has to be dropped if he can't fire. he needs to play a couple of full games and find some confidence. He also needs to stop reading the papers. Play him at CHF for Willy and give Cloke a run in the ruck for the Pies.

Yep, Fraser need to regain confidence. He can be a great player, but he needs some time out. Mix it up, bring in Cameron Cloke.

Not a wrap for Fraser, Cloke (either of 'em?) or McGough are you knuckles?

All have their flaws but all have the unique qualities too IMO. Fortunately our game accomodates many types of people and players and these 3 WILL have very strong careers over 10 years for the Pies. McGough and Cloke are footballers and gutsy ones at that. That will overcome their athletic deficiencies just like it did for Tony Shaw, Bill Picken and Greg Williams. Fraser is a unique combination of height, speed and dexterity. He is certainly struggling at present but plenty of very good footballers struggle in their late teens or early 20's for all sorts of reasons. Plenty of tall blokes take their time to develop too. I'm glad we have all 3.
