Bloody ch9 have screwed us again with Frasier .The last repeat episode airs this friday,or so we thought.

Instead of ch9 finally showing new episodes, they're going right back to the first episode ....... again.

The final ever episode airs in the US this week. That means we'll be about 50 episodes behind.

BURN IN HELL ch9

They seem to do this every year, they get to a certain point...and then go back to the start. Maybe Channel 9 lost the rest of the tapes, they seem to be that bloody incompetent when it comes to this show.

I rate Frasier as one of my all time favourite shows, but between Ch 9 repeats, Foxtel repeats (and Frasier marathons on Fox), even I've almost had enough.

Roll on the new series for God's sake, especially after I saw a new episode on a plane trip, where Niles had some sort of health scare that wasn't resolved in that show.

Be thankful your getting them. I haven't seen a new Frasier episode in 3 or 4 years.

They pulled a carlton! Haven't watched for long either and am a fan now.

Sorry, can't stand this show.

Bloody Kelsey Grammar - can't stand the bloke; he's in love with the sound of his own voice. He's not an actor he's an orator.

Kind of like Orson Welles, without the talent.

As for that whiny nerd David Hyde-Pierce (I think); well what a ponce.

The dog is the best thing in it.

Dippers either you're pulling our collective legs or you've missed the point entirely.

It's a fantastic show, as was Cheers.

But between Channel 9's fumblings and Foxtel it gets irritating trying to figure out which season you're actually watching.

Have you heard the scuttlebutt. There has been talk that Kelsey Grammar is considering a new offer to keep the character Frasier going on a new show!

It has been doing the rounds of the "entertainment shows" so there must be some considerations going on. Whether it happens is another issue I suppose.

The question is what sort of show could you make out of the character for a third time? Another city but with no father or brother, unless one or two of those guys sign on as well!

Maybe he could choose to join the army and get sent to Iraq.

I honestly think that he could make it work in a third series! I mean in Cheers he had Lillith and a son, and they only had very brief appearances in the 'Frasier' series (as did some of the 'Cheers' characters) and it worked, so I think it's likely that even without his dad or brother or anyone else involved being regular characters on the new show, they'd probably pop up in cameo roles.

It'd be a remarkable achievement if Kelsey Grammer is able to pull it off! Or should I say, if Frasier Crane can. ;)

Years ago, before Cheers finished, my aunt actually said that she thought Frasier's character was strong enough to have his own series, seems she was very much proven right. :p

Reports also say he's knocked back the idea.I doubt it'd work.
It worked after Cheers, but that was because he had a life outside the bar, unlike Cliff,Norm and Sam.

I can't see the Friends spin-off [Joey] working.

I got that right. :D

Next tuesday at 7.30pm,ch9 are finally airing 2 new episodes of Frasier.
So they have 2 seasons still to show.

Not bad considering the final episode of Frasier aired in the US nearly one year ago.

i couldnt help but think of a frasier reference last night in terms of the rivalry between him and bob the bulldog the sports specialist on the radio station frasier works for

just before i headed out into the miserable sydney evening, i tuned in to abc sydney and radio changed into a talk show INSTEAD of sport because sport couldnt couldnt anymore because of the weather

... on an occasion such as that: FRASIER (and other sophisticated types who dont care for sport) WON THE EVENING!

SPORTS LOST!

YES!

*gloats* :p
