our forwards were always outnumbered like 3-1, so, i ask, where were our spare men because the ease that the pies rebounded out of our forward 50 to their forward 50 was remarkable. it was like we had 12 players (maybe we did) on the field.

and whoever was guarding didak during the night...hello, the guy only has a left foot.

I agree totally Dazza! I thought it seemed like the pies had double the number of players on the field. They ALWAYS had the numbers around the ball. They ALWAYS had several players going up for marks. Were the bloody hell was Geelong all night?!?!?!

i thought the massive difference was the work rate and the gut busting running by pies midfielders, the cats players pushed back hard and then when they ran through the middle all collingwoods defenders held their positions and formed a wall across geelongs half forward line and the cats midfielders simply didnt do the hard yards

i agree 100%. your guys ran to open space without a geelong defender in sight at times. it was worrying the ease that your guys did that as well, everytime you got it you looked dangerous, even with the likes of holland and licuria delivering the ball.

I wouldn't be able to answer that cause I walked out disgusted about 10 minutes into the third quarter.

I've seen some shockers before but that was weak. Weak late and reactive coaching, weak midfield performance, weak up forward.

Chappy and Dashers were the only 2 players on the ground that could truly hold their heads high. There were a few other blokes who played ok. But the rest of that rabble looked like witches hats.

Where do you even start trying to find answers?? I'm not a coach and know comparatively little about the game but where does one go from here???

I see what you mean (try and force him on the right foot because he tries to get on his left as often as possible) but his right foot is very good.

i'd take didak on his right ALL the time. one moment i nearly en yelled out, mayb's DJ, 'he's gonna turn yer and go back inside!!!!' sure 'nuff thats what happened. let someone like that head deep into the pocket at pace on a substantially weaker side.

time, thats the play i was thinking of, just couldnt be bothered recounting it. it was johnson and he should have corralled him onto his right foot.

happened to johnson last year as well when he was on didak.
