here in Adelaide, as the crows play the kangas our game is not shown on ch 10 tonight, so you would think that fox sports 1 would be showing our game, but NO they are also showing the crows north melb. clash. Oh well, thinks I, i guess i can live with a three hour delay and watch the game as if its live at around 9:30. but NO! fox sports are playing the rugby after the afl. The tigers v st kilda game is not on until 10 am Sunday morning!! wtf!!! as far as i can tell from the guide it is not being shown on main event or anything either. i pay all this money to foxtel to watch my team play and they do not deliver. POOR FORM FOXTEL :thumbsd::mad:
 
it might be but all the tv guides say that its movie previews. if it is then great, but they should advertise it better.

funny how there are many of us who support interstate teams who supported them when they couldnt get subscribers here and now they just drop us. ****, the lot of them.

I live in Adelaide too.

I am furious.

I understand the economic issues and that the Adelaide game is going to be played on FTA but why can't there be some consideration like in NSW where you can get the game on Fox Sports Plus.

What is Fox Sports Plus?
And why can't we get it here?

Absolute neglect by the AFL.

I don't think we've seen a single game on FTA this year.

Fair enough to promote parochialism, but what about the national comp????:mad:
 
i agree it's desperately crap i'm stuck in sydney airport and was hoping to get home around 1130 to watch the fox replay and it's not on until tomorrow that's absolute bollocks.
c'mon foxtel get it together bring back fox footy channel

They're such an unprofesional company, that they wouldn't care.

How could one have such low self esteem that you one would even consider working for this utter joke of a company.

No Tiger supporter should be so disloyal as to even think about taking out a subnscription with the discrgrace to our game called Foxtel
 
we have the same problems in Qld. If Brisbane are playing and its a fox game FTA wil grab it as well so it will be on both channels and the other game (if there is one) is neglected. Main event sometimes but not always helps out
 
Yeah, Saturday night there's a gap if you're an interstate supporter and the club from that state is playing - up here the Lions take precedence over all other games.

There can also be a gap on Sundays if you're drawn for the 2:10 game (between the one at 1:10 and the twilight match), but at least that one gets replayed at 7:30 the same night.

I really don't know why they don't play Saturday nights on main event like they do Friday nights, IIRC, they did last year, so perhaps it's the FTA channels complaining about it or Foxtel can't do anything about it?

Don't worry, for those Richmond supporters without Foxtel won't get to see any Tigers games on t.v for 7 games from rounds 10-16 inclusive. Looks like the torrent trade will be alive and well for close to 2 months. :eek:
 
We get the same here in WA all the time if the Egirls or Shockers are playing the Fox telecast match at the same time.
As mentioned above, it's not Fox's fault, it's 7 or 10's fault.
Or.........Fox should be permitted to broadcast the 7 or 10 match in to WA / SA if the clash occurs..........except Fox would still rather show their match because those supporters will prefer to watch it on Fox's better coverage than 7 or 10 anyway, so it's not going to happen !!! :mad:
Maybe Fox could be permitted to show the alternate match on Main Evernt or similar when the clash occurs........?

i will certainly consider getting rid of my foxtel (or at least the sports channels) and just wait for the torrent to be available. would be cheaper and if i have to wait until the next day to see the replay anyway then who cares about a bit extra time to wait.

relax man, foxtel is doing their bit for obesity. Show the tiger games on sunday morning, you watch it over breakfast, and then you spew it all up when we lose another one that we shouldnt have. You will be walking the cat walks before you know it. ;)
 
Thought I'd bring it up again because we are not on TV until 7.30am SUNDAY MORNING.

Hawks vs Port are on Foxtel and Channel 10 and then on Foxtel again at like 11.30pm Saturday night, WTF. :mad: :thumbsd:

Looks like I'll be hitting the town and sleep for a few hours before watching them at 7.30am :rolleyes:
 
yep. not good enough. in the paper today under the listing for tv and radio times. richmond vs geelong - nil. what is going on AFL? how can this be allowed? not only are we snubbed for tv coverage but there are replays of other games on first before ours is shown.

There can be no excuse to blocking out/"delaying" interstate viewers from seeing the game they cannot attend.

Delayed over 14 hours for some of our interstate counterparts. :rolleyes: They should call up and complain and you should show it on main event as they have no other way of seeing it and they shouldnt have to pay for a game they can see on Free TV and have to wait 10+ hours in most cases to watch the other.

I thought this was the "best TV deal" ever for viewers!? :thumbsd:

Stick it right up 'em all if you have the problem, only weight of numbers can have an effect of some kind of resolution, AKA a Main Event showing for blacked out regions. :thumbsu:
