GWS would pay more than that, and if he wanted to chase the dollars he may as well go there. And TBH i'm not sure Cloke is worth $800k in the first place.

So other than Franklin, name a better forward in the league.

Cloke's the no.1 contested mark taker in the league for good reason.

But Jack Riewoldt coult potentially round out the top 3 for tall forwards, not that he's available or anything.

Unless we are a realistic chance at making Grandfinal next year by hunting them types of players, its not worth it.

But guys like Fyfe,Mora(if reaches potential) hill etc etc will all be wanting more money soon.
Goddard while a very good player really doesnt add much more than an in form Duffield.
Maybe a guaranteed 5 extra disposals.
The price doesnt seem worth it to me.

Now if it was for a good forward then its worth it.

I would be hunting quality tall forwards, or a midfielder.

Comedy genius - I like it. Saw an interview Goddard did where he considered the idea of being a one club player. Just doesn't seem the type to me. Seems more like a career player like Lyon being a career coach. Looking forward to seeing him in the purple.
