Heard a while ago that theres software out there that allows you to phone overseas for pretty much nothing

As i have family overseas, does anyone know what the software is? Or if its any good?

There's no service that allows you to dial Internet to PSTN (a regular phone) free. However it can be pretty cheap.

It's a pretty new field with VoIP competing against Peer to Peer.

At the moment I'm going with Skype. It's improved alot over recent times and I haven't had any problems recently, although it's annoying using the computer to speak. It's pretty much an essential to use headphones to avoid feedback and preferable if you can get a headset with a microphone.
