Free Dowloadable Games

hey guys I just got a new vista laptop and want to put some downloadable games on there (excluding trials) is there anyones you can suggest for me?

I don't know your laptops spec's, but F.E.A.R Combat is free (and pretty good), also enemy territory (which is a fair bit older, 2001 I think, so that will run piece of piss on pretty much anything). Also America's Army, and a bunch of free MMO's like Anarchy Online. These are pretty much all online, as most of the quality free games seem to be, but here is a list of some other free games (http://www.esgameservers.com/freepcgames.html ) most a pretty old, but some like GTA2 are still a lot of fun. Lastly, I recommend you download Soldat. It's only small, and looks about 20 years old, but loads of people play it because it kicks arse.

Also for your old school gaming, download some emulators and ROMs. Playing Nintendo 64 on the PC is always great fun, as is playing SNES and PSX. Most games are available on torrent sites, just google an emulator to use.

I agree with the emulators. Also look for a neo-geo emulator, there are loads of classic arcade games to be had there...

Combat Arms is free its an FPS similar to counterstrike, also Trackmania Nations Forever. You can also play SRO (silk roads online) through a web browser but.
