Brisbane.. suspensions, injuries. I'm almost disapointed. Seriously I know how important these 4 points are, and having their team decimated is surely going to help our cause, but I wish something resembling the Brisbane side that is all-conquering was coming to Perth so we could test ourselves against the best.

I almost believe that we'd stand a better chance also.. tough call but we did quite well against good teams last year at home. I just hope we don't relax and think we have it in the bag which seemed to be the case against Hawks.

How good would have the Brown v Mcpharlin duel been? If (when) Charman gets rubbed out, they're left pretty thin ruck wise with McDonald also out. If Voss doesnt make it over, thats 1 of the fab 4 gone. If Leppa is out, with White already out, their backline will be reasonably thin.

Brisbane will still field a strong side, such is their excellent depth and ability to cover injuries, but we're not going to have the same spectacle this game would have promised at the start of the season.

Hopefully its still a good game and our boys play to their potential.

Des needs a rest. Send him to the Maldives for a couple of weeks. When he can start running we can put him back in the team. Wouldnt mind seeing Danial Haines given a game though Im not sure how his form has been. On a side note Im looking forward to seeing Jarred Brennan play.

In reality we aint done to bad so far this year, winning games by doing just enough, but yes there is room for improvement.

They are due for a game where all the cogs come together, and in all the dismay over Sunday's game, I saw some good things. Pav started to be more attacking, Snake provided a target (dropped marks, so what that's opportunities for the crumbers), Splinter looked alot more confident and Hase played his one "ordinary" game for the year.

I can feel alot of positive signs in my waters.

Will be at the Melbourne game (long WE) and the port game (Saturday night)and also the Kangaroos (Saturday night). :)

I'll never question your dedication, but yes 800 km is a tad far to zoom off every fortnight.

Just turn on the tele on, volume down and you can just imagine the crowd noise without the cliche commentary. Take all pointed objects out of the TV room ....

I think we are in for our 3rd loss in a row, even though brisbane are without many of there stars they still have a much better line up than ours, and we are in shocking form. I know its a big statement but if we lose this one making the 8 to me looks doubtful. Of course if we win then the talk will be top 4 again.

I can't see us winning, we have been at full strengh in the last 2 weeks and lost.

Brisbane by 4 goals and a crowd of 39,109

This is such an important game to bring the crowds in, we have failed in the big games and this is another huge one. Brisbane still have too much class.

We certainly have the potential to win, and win well with brissy missing a host of players. But form shows our key areas are down

Let's look at it this way :-

Backline - in solid form, cemented well together.

Midfield - can get alot of the ball, need more clearances, read Sandi's knocks?.

Forwards - not presenting (leading one dimensional), getting in each others way, not crumbing, not locking the ball in.

Looking at the above, we need the forwards to lift and get more clearances, this is all positive. The glass is half empty or half full?.

Brissie are a quality outfit, but all I ask is that the 22 players give 100% like McManus and we will come away with the points. Anyone who doesn't give 100% must be made to visit a WAFL club next week.

How many black cats has TLo killed on the farm?.

Yes it certainly makes you wonder at least he's fit more than you can say for Headland.
