So ladies and gentleman how we go?

4. Fremantle – Ricky Mott (Sydney)
20. Fremantle – Ben Colreavy (Claremont)
36. Fremantle – Daniel Gilmore (South Fremantle)
51. Fremantle – Steven Dodd (East Fremantle)

I'm happy with Mott but Schwab and Moylan should have done a better job with the TPP so we weren't banned from the pre-season draft. Mott should be on our senior list.

Any thoughts/ knowledge on the rest?

Fremantle walked away from that draft clear winners.
Mott was the best player available in that draft, Essendon must be kicking themsleves.

I am pretty happy the way things turned out. Mott will probably get promoted if someone gets a long term injury, and I wouldn't be suprised if Colreavy and Gilmore get a game sometime during the year as well.

I'm pretty happy being able to pick up Mott in the rookie draft. With the delisting or retirement of our backup talls pin eastaugh and Fewster, we really needed another big bloke to be able to shoulder some of the ruck duties if snake were to get a long-term injury. I guess we also have Sandilands, but I think he will take a bit longer to develop in the game.

Gilmore also seems like a good pickup with a long kick, but another year in the WAFL will certainly do him some good.

I don't really know much abou the other guys so I'll have to wait till the intra club game to see how they go.

Being serious here, but ain't those rumours no worse than half the other rumours you here around town?

With the illicit drug taking going on at the eagles (yes jod the rumours are true no matter how many Sunday Times front page puff pieces they write) I wouldn't be throwing stones.

Well, excuse me for "ragging" on Gardiner, Cousins, Jako etc, Jod, but at least those were "rumours" that everybody knew about, and in Jako's case - not a rumour, but fact.

Now how about you back up your little statement here by at least telling us exactly what those Mott rumours are - better start making them up.

If you mean that he's overweight in November or smoked a couple of durries behind the changerooms in October, well that may be worthy of your ragging in your opinion, so keep going and see how long you last.

You eagle fans get funnier every year, you wouldn't have a clue about Ricky Mott or any other footballer other than your own bunch of squeaky clean primadonnas. Open your eyes and have a look in your own backyard before you start digging up the dirt in someone elses.

He is still a worry though, but a lot less of a worry than if he was on the main list. Based on form alone last year, he was good enough to be on most lists in the AFL, yet every single club passed on him in the main draft. That means that the rumours about him being 12kg overweight and refusing to give up smoking and drinking at the Swans are probably true.

But if he hasn't changed, then all we've wasted is a rookie list spot. And a half decent ruckman.

Perths a small place especially in the Subi/ Dalkieth/ Nedlands / what private school did you go to / world.

I know enough to know that several under achieving younger players at the eagles are into behaviours their team wouldn't approve of.

Like I really care if you believe me or not.
