does anyone have simple recipes for fruit smoothies/ drinks that are simple to make? dont feel like having a big breakfast anymore but would like a subsitiute thats simple and preferabley fills me up.
 
I don't use reciepes as such - i just make it up as i go along!!!

Vanilla/plain yoghurt (or skim milk) with any of you're favourite fruits!
I find all the different sorts of berries, and also bananas give the best results.
I love passionfruit but i hate the seeds when they are all crushed up and it's a pain in the arse trying to pick them out!

i know it might not be enough, but better than my chocolate donut/ice coffee/toast thing i have been doing for years.
 
Barge Breakfast Smoothie.

- 4 Weet Bix bars, crushed.
- Cup of milk.
- 1 Banana, diced.
- 4 tablespoons of protein powder.
- 1 tablespoon bundy or assorted rum.
- Blender.

Serves one.

Stuff 'em all in & blend for 2 minutes, and this formula should make your day. :cool:
 
One I usually make is this:

- Couple of tea spoons of vanilla yoghurt
- Couple of spoons of ice cream
- Cup of milk
- One whole diced banana
- Mix with blender

Takes less than a couple of minutes to make
 
The banana smoothies seem to be popular ... bananas are supposed to be the best fruit to have for breakfast. I just have skim milk, banana, vanilla icecream and milo. Like Scrumhalf said, extras like protein powder make it a better breakfast substitute.
