Movie Funny People - Judd Atapow

[Big Blow Hard]

I know I am very early on this one considering the release date in Australia is 30 July, But I gotta say, I am really hanging out and looking forward to this latest Judd Ataow release. The guy rarely misses the mark in terms of humour, if at all.

Funny people is in a nutshell a story of a succesful stand up comedian whao has been diagnosed with a terminal illness. And a struggling up and coming comedian who come together on the same play bill. And their relationship from that time onward.

The cast looks pretty amazing, and if all this lot together can't get some laughs I'll be shocked. I just hope it isn't a case of too many funny people ruining the joke.

Should be great. Don't forget that Happy Madison productions is also co-producing it. Sandler often does not get the credit he deserves. They should make a good partnership.

Never heard of this but it looks like a good lineup. Also agree with Sarah Silverman, there are probably only 2 or 3 funny chicks in this world and she is 1 of them. It also helps that she is pretty plowable.

He's a Saints tragic in real life too, so probably not much of an acting stretch for him.

I'm not much of an Adam Sandler fan but I'll probably go see this just for the Eric Bana/Saints stuff. After all it's not everyday you get the chance to see your footy team featured in a Hollywood flick.

I found that character to be one of the most annoying in recent cinematic history, whilst i wasn't at all fond of her appearance in The 40 Year Old Virgin.

Granted, she's not the worst of the 'i only get jobs because i married a writer/producer' brigade, but i just want to see a Judd Apatow film where she isn't prominent.

Can't wait for this one. Have loved all Apatow movies and I can't see this being and exception. Hopefully it isn't a let down as the cast is pretty good.

Whos the worst? Kevin Smiths Butter Head wife is one that springs to mind. In Jay and Silent Bob strike back and Clerks 2.

I have to say the same about his kids(I know harsh), they are all bits of useless too.

I didn't mind her in a few movies(40 year old virgin), but seriously, almost every movie that he does now she's in(And her doing the Aussie accent to Eric Bana really made me wanna puke)? Getting the same with Carla Gallo too, she really isn't a good actor, yet she's been in almost everyone too.
