Gamble or Jetta?

I have both these blokes in my team, but with Dew already on my bench and plenty of trades in hand I'm planning to trade one out to make sure I don't make any on-field donuts this week.

Question is, which one?

Gamble is out suspended for one week, but competition is fierce for spots in the Cats' side and he has just given someone else a chance, so I'm concerned he's no certainty to get another game afterwards. Brent Prismall and Harry Taylor are great examples of how hard it is to get in and to stay in that side. That said, if he does play I think he has the capacity to score higher than Jetta.

According to the Bomber's website Jetta is out for another two weeks. As a second year player in a young side I'm more confident that he'll get a game most weeks when fit, but I'd expect few quiet ones from him over the journey. He seems to me to be able to carve it up occasionally, but also go missing occasionally. I could be misreading him here (happy for any Bomber supporters to correct me on this).

I'm leaning towards keeping Gamble provided I don't get too many other injuries or suspensions, because I think I can get good value by keeping him on the bench when he doesn't play and subbing him in when he does. Its a risk though.

Concerning Jetta, there have been a few young bombers who have gone past him recently.

Houli obviuosly is the one to get but will be expensive. Reimers, Lonergran and Dempsey will get games ahead of Jetta at moment, but all have injury concerns.

When they get over these, expect them to be around mark of Jetta.

Gamble could come back into the Geelong 22 next week. Jetta is still injured.

Gamble is less likely to keep his spot all year, but then again he might. While Jetta will keep his spot, but is injured.

Jetta will be EMG all year IMO.
Gamble's a much safer bet.

Yeah but you're wrong. Jetta is a safer member of his teams best 22 than Gamble.

Hi Lamaros.

I think recently there have been a few young kinds that have gone up in the pecking order ahead of Jetta, thats all.

we know that kinghts wont play all 13 of the kids he could play and with some of them playing well, Leroy might go back a little.

I know guys like pears and reimers arent same style or position, but if they get games, Knights may be more inclined to pick others ahead of jetta.

of the 17 games left, he should get about 10-12.
