Gamble should get a game this week and I know he is only 18, but I'm expecting big things from this guy in the future. He just has the raw talent to deliver something good.

It is his first game, any thoughts on an outcome ??

A couple of goals, and an absolute screamer to knock Yze's effort from last week off the perch.

I'd settle for about 1/2 to 3/4 of the game, about 12 posessions and a glimpse of his poise and class to get us all excited about his future.

i dont know too much about gamble, can anyone fill me in on what i should know about this young prospect??? Cheers:thumbsu:

South Australian medium-sized forward, has the ability to take real hangers. Is creative across half-forward. I've heard comparisons to Lidner.

Bruce "The President" Lindner was around in the mid 80's early 90's. Left Geelong at the end of 1990 to play for the Crows (he was originally from SA). Kicked 139 goals in his 69 games at the cats and actually broke his leg in a motorbike accident shortly after he went to the crows which pretty much ended his AFL career. He was a medium forward who would go for mark of the week every round and could kick the ball a country mile and was one of the exitement machines that we rolled out along with Ablett & Brownless. Modern day you would lean towards Robertson for his marking but he was a more solid build than Robbo and a much longer kick. If Gamble pays off like the Pres we'd all be pretty happy.
