Timmy Gepp came into the Bill Walker room after the game and was talking about Gardy. He said that Gardy wanted to go back on during the last quarter but Woosha wouldn't let him, and thought it best to keep him off.

Definitely a starter for the derby, unless something else happens during the week.

I watched him through the glasses after he came off and as he walked off the ground at half time. He didn't get any treatment whatsoever when he came off - not even a rub on the knee - and as he walked back to the race with John Annear, he walked without any limp and actually jogged and ducked a couple of times to test the knee out.

He didn't look like he was having any trouble at all, truth be told. Whether that means anything is anyone's guess.

yeh i was watching him just before the start of the third term and him and the trainer where havn a bit of a kick and run and he seemed ok. Just a precaution though i suppose..same with Embers make sure they are good for next week.

yea i noticed that too on the tele at one stage, but it was the left knee, and it is the right knee that is causing problems so I don't know what the go there is....

but he did look to be moving freely and his body language was allright, so I'd say he'll be in this weekend..

Gardy

Woosha sounded positive during his interview after the game. Things didn't sound so good for Cox though.

Cox is just starting to hit his straps at the right end of the season - I hope he's OK. We are a much better side with both Cox & Gardiner playing.

Gardiner looked fine at 3 quarter time when he was jogging around and kicking the footy with John Annear. I'd be suprised if he doesn't line up on Saturday although there could be a few mind games during the week
