Did I hear right last night that he gave Hodge some credit? I don't even think he mentioned his love children Ball and Judd. Amazing!

During a game this year and i think it was after the Essendon win, Garry Lyon said after the game that it was one of the best individual games by a player that he had seen in a long time. I haven't noticed anything to suggest that Lyon doesn't give him any credit.

Lyon may acknowledge Hodge, but it is true he loooooves Judd because Judd was a Demon fan as a kid and chose number 3 as his guernsey number because it had been Lyon's number. Garry Lyon seems to think now that he shares the glory when Judd does well.

He might have played for Melbourne, but I know how annoying he can be.
Last night he mentioned that one of the Irish players was 'Judd, Hird and Deledio all rolled into one'.
He has an obsession with Deledio and overrates him a lot just because he came from the same town. He also talks Melbourne up ridiculously when we are going well, but when we start going down he is first off the bandwagon.
And BTW I rate Hodge above Judd and Ball. Hodge would show how good he is in a top 4 side.
Come on, he was picking up 30+ being the most heavily tagged player.

Hodge looked great. I'm seriously over the comparisons. They really are meaningless and will never get anywhere. Hodge is a gun, and its a little lame that people need to bring up other guys drafted in the same draft when talking about how he can play football. Wont be a couple of years at least before that starts to die down a little.

Its about time the rest of the Football world realise just how good Hodge is, has so much poise and class he almost makes it look too easy at times..

Couldnt be Happier that we picked him up at 1 over Judd & Ball, just about the complette package will be our future captain and may well go down as one of the greats of the HFC...

Ive looked through every post, and not one of us said he was better than Judd. The bloke that did, was a Dees supporters...
