Apparently, Gary Ablett Snr. went into the rooms at half time and talked with the players. It's about time he did this, especially with his son playing in the side.

Are we finally going to see Gary around the club more often??

Thoughts??

Didn't do much good.

I'd like to see him help out the forward coach (god knows, he needs it), but not so sure if he's the right guy to be chatting to our youngsters.

I think it did do a bit of good look at our second half compared to our first.
and i couldnt think of a better player to talk to our youngsters, he is the best footballer ever and was a strong christian in his playing days.

Regardless of the results of his unexpected visit, it's nice to see Gary Sr. getting more involved, and here's hoping that there's more of that in the future.

If you're referring to any debatable character issues, that's all well and good.

However, I think that given his pedigree and what he knows about the position, we could easily do much worse than employing him as the forward coach, and not merely as someone who could just help out with the coaching structure along those lines.
