So Brown and Richardson are in for Skinny, Monty and Harvey. There has been plenty of talk about John Barker coming on board but has it been confirmed? Nothing on the CFC website like the fanfare afforded to Brown and Richo.

AFL website announced Teague off to WCE as their defensive coach. All the best young fella!

Hey, stop stealing our hand-me-downs, we have an agreement with North. Imitation trully is the greatest form of flattery.

All the tools saying we have rats leaving a sinking ship. Getting rid of dead wood and building a serious contender is what I see

Sooky la la city is what I see. These cry baby back stabbers are like cancer. Get rid of them and bring in good people like A. Collins.

Oh wa wa wa I didn't get a game wa wa wa. There's the wa wa wa door!

What line will Brown be coaching defence or forward? Or in other words what line do we still need to poach someone to coach?
Backline.

"I'm really looking forward to working with the boys in that area." Gavin Brown said in an interview with Carltonfc.com.au.

Might be in the interview on CFC TV, but the video won't play. :thumbsd:

Great to bring in new ideas via Brown, Barker and Richardson.

Our assistant coaches are more experienced and probably better than the head senior coach.
Really?
How many senior games of AFL have any of these guys coached?

None?

So by "more experienced" do you mean "have been around longer" ?

We should have appointed Brian Royal.........or maybe we could get Jezza or Barrassi back......they are WAY more experienced......which of course means better right?

Blues look to Brown

"To have Gav come over and talk about his knowledge of the game - not just about Collingwood but about what he would like to set up from a back six point of view - has been first class.

"[Also] Gav, from a team point of view, has been really helpful to the team defence, … which we know Collingwood are really big on.

Ratten isn't too proud to admit that he's had the former Magpie champ drop by his office in the lead-up to the top-of-the-table clash, but adds it's not uncommon for him to gather opposition intelligence from inside his own camp.

"If we get someone from another club, we actually talk about some of the strengths and weaknesses of the team and individuals through their eyes, but they're not always perfect," he says.

Sad sad sad day for me to see the Magpie I admire above all others in the enemy camp.

You have snared a great man. Hope he doesnt give away all the secrets

Of course its a business but he must feel a little funny leading up to tomorrow as he was a fanatical Collingwood supporter as a kid also

Always wish him all the best
