Thought you guys might get Crosisca back to the club after Clarkson replaced Schwabb and new assistant coaching team came in.

Not sure what he is doing now or what his role in football is but I would have thought with some assistant coaching experience he would the type of guy you would get back to the club.

Thought he was a very good player for you guys

malthouse isn't a collingwood man at heart, so doesn't necessarily feel that he needs to bring back ex players to the club.as far as i know he inherited browny from the shaw era.
another explanation might be that MM simply didn't rate him.

I think Crosisca played under MM and was retired by him.

Nothing sinister, he was just at that age (outstayed all of his premiership teammates except for Brown) and was playing a bit of reserves footy in his last days.

MM has used Kerosin and Gayfer as runners and I know Maguire is keen on returning Collingwood players to the club.

Maguire fell out with guys like Francis and Williams because he was quite harsh on them as a commentator during some of your darker times and seemed to identify them as being part of the problem before he took over as prez. He used to say that Francis hasnt had a kick since 1992

However I dont think Crosisca could be put in that category.

I wouldn't want Crosisca down here at Collingwood as a coach. I don't rate him that highly as a coach, and why would MM want him anyway?

It doesn't really matter how good he was as a player. He doesn't play any more. As for MM, after how he handled him in his final year leaving him short of 250 games when some out and hack took us nowhere anyway I wouldn't be surprised if there are issues.

Gavin is currently coaching The North Ballarat Roosters! At the minute the seniors I think are 1:1 and the ressies are 2:0

It doesn't really matter how good he was as a player. He doesn't play any more. As for MM, after how he handled him in his final year leaving him short of 250 games when some out and hack took us nowhere anyway I wouldn't be surprised if there are issues.

True on the latter call, but Gav was as passed it as passed it could be. Sad but true!

I recall hearing a story that Gav, in the pre-season, asked MM if he could have a day off training to move house. MM denied him and Gav was in his bad books.
