This weekend I have been listening and watching a large number of Essendon players conduct interviews on both radio and television.

Sam Longeran, Angus Monfries, Matty Lloyd, Mark McVeigh, Jason Winderlich and if I think about it longer there have probably been others.

I have never heard a more composed and well spoken group of players.

We're definitely got a great team at the moment and having just listened to the way Mark McVeigh spoke on the Sunday Football Show about Jason Winderlich (in front of him as a guest on the panel) and his comeback from serious back operations was just brilliant.

There is a real comrade about this group and I strongly sense we're going to do something pretty damn special VERY SOON!

Once we learn how to handball and when i'll be very proud. Shits me everytime i go to watch them.

But i'm still proud of our lads, and a big future ahead if they can get it right. Still need to be looking to the draft for more potential.
