Good luck gorrilla.

That would obviously be a sentiment out of respect with the way he's torn you a new one each time we've played recently.

Whether it is Gehrig back, or Blake (or Gardiner if available) to the ruck so Kosi can go forward, or Allen/Ferguson in, the forward line structure is all up the sh!tter. Needs something to straighten us up (not necessarily Gehrig if his hands are butchered - do not want to see him come in and play wrestlemania in the goalsquare).

You gotta think Allen if Gardiner doesn't play, and Kosi's in the ruck (hell, even if Kosi's in the ruck WITH Gardiner - a semi-decent dual-ruckman team there...). Allen is a gun.

Many people on the main board are severely under rating the big g, hope he proves them wrong, BIG TIME. :thumbsu::D

Are you serious? Richo plays well 22 games a year...What a load of horse droppings

Shows what you know about footy. Richo's 'bad games' are games where he doesn't kick a goal but picks up 15+ disposals. Last year he kicked less than 2 goals only 4 times out of 22 games, and the LEAST disposals disposals he had in those games was 12.

Gehrig kicked less than 2 goals 6 times out of 20 games, and the MOST disposals he had in those games was 12.

See the difference? Has Richo been dropped this year? Is Gehrig at $26 to win the brownlow?

And this year Richo is by far the better player averaging 18 disposals and 3 goals, but Gehrig can't even kick a goal at VFL level. Gehrig is not even half the player Richo is, and the stats don't lie.

And if you don't believe these stats, here's the link: http://stats.rleague.com/afl/stats/players/F/Fraser_Gehrig.html

Richo must of had his bad games when we have beaten richmond for the last 10 games......

Is he not ?

Oh man, I knew they got the better of me when I placed that $100 on him last week...

Richo and Gehrig are extremely different players. Compare Richo to Riewoldt if you want a fairer comparison. Both lead up the ground, have amazing contested marking skills and endurance. Gehrig is a traditional massive full-forward with explosive acceleration. Richo would be the better player of the two, but I don't reckon Richmond would mind having someone like Fraser in their goalsquare.

yeah fair point, but i doubt we would want Gehrig now

Looks really out of touch. Would he get dropped considering Roo might be out for a couple of weeks? Seems underdone or just too old to produce his best form. Thoughts?

Gave us nothing this game. Should have been reall fired up after being dropped but wasn't. The problem now is that even mediocre defenders aren't scared to run off him because unlike other years he doesn't hurt them on the way back. I would be a lot happier if Gehrig was stamped "never to return" and we could move on with finding a functioning forward line.

i wouldnt be to hard on Gehrig, surlely it must be frustrating for him playing in a side that attacks slowly, by the time st kilda gets the ball forward he has no space to lead into and when its kicked up to him his out numbered. st kildas style of play doesnt sought the type of FF gehrig is. if st kilda moves the ball forward quicker and stops being too defensive(which i dont think will happen) then im sure gehrig will dominate

You obviously didn't watch last nights game did you? We moved the ball as quickly as possible in nearly every instance. Name another forward who needs to be hit laces out in order to kick goals, but adds nothing else to the team. That's what Fraser has become. Terrible overhead, unaccountable and useless when the ball is on the ground.
