what a talent he was. amazing slide guitar. brilliant lyrics and touching and never afraid to speak his mind in song.

Memorable albums: ATMP, Cloud Nine, Brainwashed and self titled album

Songs: Give Me Love, All Those Years Ago, Blow Away, When We Was Fab, What Is Life?, This Is Love, Handle With Care and many more.

The most underappreciated artist of our times, was an unsung solo genius

Agree 100%, and me thinks it is high time a definitive George Harrison best of was released. My dream 'best of' would comprise a first disc of material written with the fabs, including 'unreleased' stuff like Not Guilty. Second disc would be solo, obviously including large chunks of ATMP, maybe a couple of the better known Travelling Wilbury's tracks, All Those Years Ago and at least three from Brainwashed.

My fave George songs: If I Needed Someone (criminally underrated), It's All Too Much, Old Brown Shoe, Not Guilty, Something, Here Comes The Sun (possibly the most beautiful sentiment ever committed to music), I'd Have You Anytime, My Sweet Lord, Let It Down, Let It Roll, I Dig Love, You, Give Me Love, All Those Years Ago, That's What It Takes, This Is Love, Devil's Radio, Someplace Else, P2 Vatican Blues, Stuck Inside A Cloud, Never Get Over You.

P.s which George album would you recommend other than ATMP, Cloud Nine, Brainwashed?

"...since our problems have been our own creation,
they also can be overcome,
when we use the power provided free to everyone"

Quiet One will never be forgotten.
